Can I get fuse shipped overnight?

Sorry, but no there is no overnight or Express Mail option. It can't be shipped FedEx or UPS. When it comes to shipping fuse or novelty fireworks, there is only one viable option and that is USPS Retail Ground. Fuse and novelty fireworks are considered hazardous materials and are not allowed on commercial planes. It must travel by ground only.

Why is my shipping so much?

Fuse can only be shipped via United States Postal Service Retail Ground. No Exceptions!

This service is also referred to as Surface Mail Only. Fuse and other hazardous materials like it are not allowed on planes per FAA rules. The only way it can travel then is by truck or ship. This makes transporting it more expensive than other methods such as First Class Packages. It has to ship in its own heavy duty cardboard box. Flat Rate Boxes will not work.

Are you overcharging me for shipping?

This is a common misconception people have when they see the shipping total for their order! If you think you are being overcharged and you want to check the postal rate for yourself, simply check it with the USPS Postage Calculator.

  • Enter 59834 in the "FROM" ZIP code box.
  • Enter YOUR shipping ZIP code in the "TO" ZIP code box.
  • Check the box ahead of "Hazardous Materials" if your order contains fuse.
  • Check the box ahead of "Requires Ground Transportation" if your order contains fuse.
  • Click the far right icon, "Calculate price based on Shape and Size." (We cannot use FLAT RATE PRIORITY BOXES. Fuse is not allowed to ship Priority by the USPS and most other items don't fit in these boxes.)
  • Enter your cart weight plus 3 oz (we add 3oz to every cart to account for the weight of the box and packaging).
  • Click the third icon, "Package," to view the rates.
  • Add $.50 to the cost of a Retail Ground or First Class price.
  • Add $1.00 to the cost of a Priority Mail price (Priority Mail gets Priority handling).
